Tilt the tank to the side and pull it out of both plugs, which then remove from the master cylinder. Before installation, lubricate the new plugs thinly with the brake fluid and insert into the pump openings. Press the tank into the plugs

Use a screwdriver to press down on the bands on both ends of the tank, simultaneously tilting the tank, then remove it from the pump. Remove the bands and use a screwdriver to remove the gaskets from the pump openings Lubricate the new gaskets with brake cylinder paste and insert into the pump holes Slip new bands onto the tank stubs and place the tank in the pump. The ties must audibly click into the grooves
