The first thing to do is to disconnect the brake hose from the caliper. To do this, unscrew the hollow bolt and close the cable outlet with an appropriately selected plug.
Clamp type ATE
■ Allen key 9 mm unscrew the fastening bolts and remove the clamp from the knuckle
■ Mount the caliper without the friction inserts. Cheese head screws (it is recommended to use new ones) coat with securing agent and screw in (tightening torque 95 N m m).
■ If necessary, clean the holes in the knuckle beforehand with a tap, removing any remnants of the old safener.
Clamp type GMF
■ Leveraging with a screwdriver or chisel, remove caps from both mounting bolts
■ Allen key 8 mm unscrew the two fixing screws.
■ Remove the brake caliper.
■ During assembly, the new caps must be hammered through a suitably selected sleeve as far as they will go.
General remark! The hollow bolt with the new seal fitted is tightened with a torque 25 N m After tightening the clamp, check that it can move. The new caps must lie flush with the clamp. After inserting the friction inserts, bleed the brake system and check the tightness of the brake hose connection
