Flexible coupling replacement

■ Move the steering gear to the center position, i.e.. as for driving straight ahead.

■ Remove the screws from both clamps on the steering shaft and on the input shaft on the flexible coupling.

■ Push the flexible coupling up on the steering shaft.

■ On each clamp, remove the two nuts and washers. Pull the gearbox forward from the end face

■ Pull the clutch off the steering shaft.

Reassembly takes place in the reverse order, the gearbox must be in the middle position. The clamp bolt on the steering shaft must be in a horizontal position at the top. Pull the steering shaft upwards, until contact with the ball bearing. Finally, check the gearbox alignment.
