Replacing the brake cable

■ Pull the emergency brake lever to the third notch.

■ Raise the car.

■ At the cable hook, measure the distance between the adjusting nut and the end of the threaded rod, remember the value.

■ Unscrew the adjusting nut at the rear, so that the rope can be removed from the hitch.

■ Remove the cable from the brackets in the floor tunnel.

■ Unhook the plastic guide from the bracket on the fuel tank.

■ Unhook the cable from the guiding elements at the rear suspension beam.

■ Remove the rear wheels.

■ Remove the brake drums.

■ Undo the ends of the cable and pull it through the holes in the brake disc.

■ Pull in a new cable.

■ Install the brake drums and adjust the brakes.

■ Adjust the emergency brake.
