Change the oil filter

The oil filter must be replaced regularly, in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. It is possible to check, whether the oil filter is clogged as follows: with the engine warm, the filter housing must be at the same temperature as the crankcase, a different temperature means that raw oil is supplied to the lubricating points.

The filter housing is unscrewed with a clamping band, and in its absence with a leather strap, which turns on the housing twice.

Before installing the new filter, lubricate the gasket a little with oil or grease. The filter is only tightened by hand, without the use of tools. Start the engine and check, that oil does not leak from under the filter. If necessary, you can tighten the filter by hand.
