Replacing the steering rod
■ Remove the air filter housing
■ Loosen the clamp bolt at the end of the tie rod.
■ Remove both protectors from the spacer, by squeezing the expanding rivet in the center of the security with a screwdriver.
■ Unscrew the tie rod from the steering gear
■ Only loosen the screw on the adjacent bar
■ Unscrew the rod from the threaded bolt used for the toe adjustment, counting the turnover made
Pay attention to the different design of the left and right steering rod during assembly. The clamp screws are screwed in from below. The bolt securing the rod to the transmission is tightened with torque 110 N m Lock both screws. Set the front wheels toe-in, then tighten the clamp bolt to the torque 20 Nm
