Then pour some gasoline through the filler holes (not ethylized) and moved several times, shock absorber lever to wash its interior. After washing, the shock absorbers should be thoroughly dried and the valve plugs screwed in using soft copper or aluminum washers under them.. Then the shock absorber body is filled with shock absorber oil according to the factory manual. When carrying out these activities, keep clean and be careful, prevent sand or mud from getting into the shock absorber, because even the smallest contamination causes rapid wear of the shock absorber. In order to check the technical condition of the lever damper, disconnect the pull rod of the damper lever and move it in both directions as far as it will go.. If the lever has significant resistance in both directions, then the damper is good.
