Setting the fuel level – Fiat Uno

To check and adjust the fuel level in the float chamber, remove the carburetor and unscrew the cover. Place the cover vertically so, float to hang down. In this position, the float arm should touch the valve ball without pressing it in (Lynx. 2.95 and 2.96). Measure the float setting and compare with the data. To adjust, bend the float hinge appropriately. The measurement is carried out with the cover gasket.

After checking and, if necessary, adjusting the given dimensions, swivel the float completely outwards, without putting pressure on the shoulder, and determine the value of its jump. This second position of the float is shown in the drawings 2.95 and 2.96 dashed line. The float stroke is adjusted by bending the hinge tongue accordingly.
