■ Fill the float chamber of the removed carburetor with fuel and install the cover.

■ Keep pressing the throttle lever, until fuel leaks from the injector.

■ Place a graduated beaker under the carburetor 10 ml and actuate the lever ten times as far as it will go: wait a few seconds after each movement.

Pump expenditure performing 10 jumps should correspond to the values ​​given in the regulatory data. If the measurement result differs significantly from the required value and the engine stops during acceleration or consumes too much fuel, the accelerator pump system should be carefully checked. In a single carburetor, the pump output is set with the adjusting nut on the pump lever (Lynx. 2.98), while in the carburetor "register” – with a stepped shield.
