Trailed spreaders.
Trailed tractor spreaders are commonly used for sowing fertilizer lime. The load boxes of these spreaders are built on the trailer chassis one- or biaxial. The box of the single-axle spreader can be loaded with 2-3 tons [2000—3000 kg], and for the box of the two-axle spreader - 4t [4000 Kg] lime. Due to such a high load capacity, these spreaders are also used to transport lime from the warehouse or directly from railway wagons to the field.. This avoids additional transshipments of the lime. The figure shows a single axle spreader. The main components of this spreader are: chassis, cargo box, conveyor belt, sowing amount adjustment unit, spreading unit and drive unit. There is a ladder inside the chest, the task of which is to relieve the webbing-rubber conveyor. Thanks to this ladder, the conveyor is gradually fed during the spreader operation, which is the movable bottom of the load box. The conveyor is stretched on two drums, the front of which is used to tighten the conveyor with a screw tensioner, the rear one is the driving drum. The sowing amount adjustment unit consists of a movable shutter mounted on the rear wall of the spreader's load box (the position of which determines the size of the feed slot) and a handwheel.
