Adjusting the start throttle

■ Remove the air filter.
■ Pull out the choke control completely”. The choke lever must then rest against the bumper, otherwise, the effective length of the choke cable must be adjusted”.
■ Let the engine warm to operating temperature
■ Using a drill, measure the gap of the choke valve on the long side.
■ Gap size, which should be 4.25 – 4.75 Mm. is set with the adjusting screw,

■ Remove the air filter.
■ Close the start throttle as far as it will go.
■ Let the engine warm to operating temperature.
■ Measure the gap size with a drill, at its widest point, between the edge of the damper pointing upwards and the wall of the throat.
■ When the aperture size is different from the required value, it should be adjusted, by properly turning the screw in the pneumatic cylinder.
