Power adjustment of the plowing depth.
The plowing depth is adjusted by force automatically thanks to a special adjustment device mounted in the tractor's hydraulic lift. It is about this, that when changing the plow resistance during plowing, and therefore also when changing the plowing depth, there is a force impulse (in the C-385 tractor - in hangers or in the C-4011 tractor - in the upper connector), which causes proper operation of the hydraulic lift. For power regulation, the adjustment system selection lever on the tractor's hydraulic lift should be set to S position.
If the soil resistance becomes greater than the value determined by the manual lever of the jack, it is the hydraulic jack that receives the appropriate boost (through a connector or hangers) triggering activation of the lifting mechanism, which causes the plow to lift slightly, thanks to which the plowing becomes shallower and the resistance of the plow is reduced. When the plow is operated with force regulation, the ground wheel is unnecessary, and therefore in these plows, which have a copying wheel, they must be raised so high, so that it does not roll on the surface of the field. The plow is then fully mounted on the tractor, due to which the tractor drive wheels are more loaded, which ensures better use of engine power and lower fuel consumption per hectare. The use of the force adjustment system is possible only when the plow is operating on soils with uniform unit resistance. Otherwise, there are too frequent changes in the position of the plow, resulting in a clear shallowing and deepening of the plowing.
