Plowing depth adjustment with attached plows.
Plowing depth with attached plows is defined as the difference between the height of the field wheel setting in relation to the furrow and support wheel.. A prerequisite for this, that all bodies work at the same depth, is the leveling of the plow frame and the setting of the furrow wheel, that it is at the level of the plowshares. For this purpose, the plow has two threaded pins (spindles) ended with cranks. The left crank is used to adjust the plowing depth, and the right - for leveling the plow frame. The left crank acts directly on the field wheel, the right hand side directly onto the furrow wheel. Axles of both wheels, field and furrow, they are connected by a system of rods and levers, so that when raising or lowering the field wheel, it is possible to obtain the correct position of the furrow wheel. In this, For the same purpose, the axis of the field wheel is also connected with the axis of the support wheel by means of a system of rods and levers. Thanks to this, each change of the position of the field wheel causes a corresponding change of the position of the rear support wheel, making, that the rear plow bodies set to the same plowing depth as the front bodies. The lowest position of the support wheel is set by means of a special stop bolt screwed into the axis of this wheel.
