Disc plows.
Disc plows are used primarily in the cultivation of heavily sodden news, fallow and clearings and on stony soils. The share bodies do not give good results in such conditions and they wear out faster. The disc bodies cut through the roots better and more easily slide down or roll over stones. The working element of the disc body is a concave plate with a diameter of approx. 70 Cm, freely rotating on the axis. The disc axis is mounted in the lower part of the leg. The post is divided and thus the angle of setting of the discs in relation to the horizontal can be changed within small limits. The upper part of the plow is connected to the frame in such a way that it is possible to change the angle of the disc in relation to the direction of the plow movement. Changing the angle of the disc allows you to change the intensity of crushing and turning the furrow slices. This task is facilitated by special scrapers, which additionally clean the discs of sticky soil. Double disc plows- and three-body are built as suspended, while plows with a greater number of bodies - as towed to the tractor. The oblique setting of the discs in relation to the level and direction of plowing causes high lateral pressure on the frames of these plows. In order to balance them, disc plows are equipped with special support wheels. These plows are adjusted and operated in a similar way, like suitable plows with share bodies.
