Nissan Tone

Nissan ToneThe Nissan Tone studio, announces the successor to the compact Almery, which will be available in the beginning 2006 r. The Tone minivan on display at the Nissan stand is built on the joint platform of Nissan and Renault. Means, that it will not have an independent rear suspension, a torsion beam. At the front we find standard MacPherson speakers. The same structure was previously used to create the city Nissan Miera and a small van, Renault Modusa, and (lately) w Logan Dacians. However, a new Nissan car, despite the proportions of a minivan and a floor plate straight from the B class, is to replace the compact Almera. Most likely, that the Tone will be one of a range of new ones, compact Nissan, that will replace Almera together, dividing segment C into different niches.
Nissan Tone Ma 415 cm in length, and its wheelbase is measured 260 Cm – is a size that perfectly fits the compact car segment. However, the proportions of the body and its height (154 Cm), they seem rather appropriate for the minivan segment. How many new mid-size cars, The Nissan Tone will be a little of all of these. Inside, there will be space for five people, the instrument panel is modern.
You can find items in it (for example, the steering wheel and the instrument cluster) modeled on the Nissan 350Z sports car. The centerpiece is the multi-functional display, and under it there are buttons and a knob for its operation. Nissan is a study car, despite this both its external appearance, as well as the interior design should not change much in the mass-produced version. Rather, we will not see a two-piece glass roof extending almost the entire length of the vehicle – This feature, which is characteristic of most Nissan concept cars, does not appear in series-production versions. But the Tone will certainly have a system that allows you to open and start the car without removing the key, known from the smaller Miera.
Gasoline engines will certainly be available on other models in the new Nissan's powertrain line-up 1.6 (109 MILES), 1.8 (116 MILES) and dCi turbodiesels produced by Renault (to which it belongs 44% Nissan stock).
The Tone will be manufactured in Sunderland (great Britain) and will be available for sale early 2006 r.
