Master cylinder repair

To repair the master cylinder, you must have the appropriate tool. Pump components in various designs are shown in Fig.

BRAKE PUMP COMPONENTS TYPE ATE 1 – tank cap (standard). 2 – sieve,
3 – tank cap (with warning system).
4 – float guide bushing, 5 – fluid reservoir,
6 – pump housing, 7 – o-ring, 8 – sealing plug,
9 – stop screw with gasket.
10 – repair kit included

1 – pump housing, 2 - tank seals, 3 - bands. 4 - fluid reservoir, 5 tank cap,
6 front piston spring, 7 – spring holder. 8 disc seal, 9 - filling pad. 10 – front piston. 11 disc seal, 12 locking ring. 13 spring sleeve. 14 – rear piston spring, 15 spring holder, 16 rear plunger. 17 – locking ring. 18 – brake force regulator

Place all removed parts aside, in their order. Verify the parts. Neither the pistons, and the cylinder surface must not show the slightest sign of scratching. Replace damaged parts, as well as circlips, rubber parts and O-rings. Pump parts may only be washed in brake fluid or alcohol, no other means may be used
