■ Remove the carburetor. To check, the gasket under the carburettor is not damaged, replace if necessary (keep the same thickness). Install the carburetor in the reverse order. Set the idle speed. The air filter cover can be mounted in two ways (location for summer and winter). The filter element is of the dry type and is subject to replacement at each 10 000 km (at the latest what 15 000 km). It is recommended that you wash the carburetor after disassembling the carburetor. Remove the screw located above the needle valve and remove the strainer. Wash the filter in gasoline and blow it through.
Unscrew the cover of the float chamber, remove the gasket without damaging it and blow compressed air through all the channels in the float chamber. Use a lint-free cloth to remove sediment from the bottom of the chamber. Unscrew the nozzles and blow them out. The nozzles must not be cleaned with wire, because it will definitely change their flight. Similarly, unscrew and blow out the emulsion tube. Pull out the injector and check, that the gasket is not distorted. Dismantle the accelerator pump cover together with the gasket and spring. Make sure, that the diaphragm is not damaged, and the plunger slides easily into the seat. Replace damaged parts. Clean all nozzles with compressed air. The suction valve ball must move easily. Remove the extra idle mixture adjusting screw and possibly the nozzle above and blow out the channels.
Note, to return the nozzles that you removed to their place. If possible, do not change the basic carburetor setting.
