Tooth harrows.
Tooth harrows are most commonly used. They have the job: level and loosen the soil surface before sowing or planting, mechanically destroy weeds, bring out couch grass runners to the surface, thin out too dense emergence of plants, mix mineral fertilizers with soil, cover the seeds after sowing and destroy the sods. Different types of harrows are used depending on the tasks performed and soil conditions. Depending on the type of working elements, the harrows are divided into: teeth, spring loaded, spiky and paddle and disc.
Tooth harrows consist of several individual sections, called harrow fields. The individual bays are connected to the drawbeam or the suspension frame by means of chains. Tooth harrows can be: light, medium or heavy.
